I’ve always had a fascination for writing and a love for mysteries.  The Hardy Boys occupied my adolescent years.  As an adult, I escaped into the world of romance and suspense.  My passion for reading has encouraged me to write my own stories.  Composing a full-length novel without knowing how became a real challenge.

I’m a member of Romance Writers of America® and a former member of the Heart of Texas Chapter in Waco, Texas.  At the arrival of the internet, I designed and maintained the chapter’s first web site and served as the web-mistress for about seven years.  I’ve served two terms as Secretary, three terms as Newsletter Editor, and two terms as President.  Although I’ve moved on, I still hold fond memories of HOT.

I’m currently attending Seton Hill University’s Writing Popular Fiction program.  With emphasis on genre fiction, this program gives me an opportunity to work with a mentor and the greatest community of writers.

Outside of writing, I’m a wife and mother of two, and I work outside the home.  My full time job at MarathonNorco Aerospace, Inc. immerses me in the world of network communications and programming databases.  My family and I are big NASCAR fans.  When I’m not watching my son race the local dirt tracks, I’m working on scrapbooks and web designs.
